According to the ancient eastern culture, the year of 2009 has been considered as an obstacle year for His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa.  We all hope His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa will live forever to carry out the Buddha activity and conduct precious Buddha teaching in this relative world.  In order to remove the possible obstacle for His Holiness Karmapa, the principal of Taiwan Kagyu Buddhist Institute started the White Tara Mantra Reciting project in the beginning of 2009.

White Tara is also named Longevity Female Buddha.   By practicing White Tara Dharma could avoid dying from young or accident.   Many practitioners have been reaching enlightenment by practicing White Tara Dharma.

Reciting billion times of White Tara Mantra could remove the possible obstacle for His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa from the year of 2009.  Reciting billion times of White Tara Mantra could also remove the obstructions from the path of carrying out Buddha activity for His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa in this relative world.

The benefit and merit of reciting billion times of White Tara Mantra is very special and immeasurable.  Let us recite White Tara Mantra billions of times and turn all the benefit and merit towards His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa to wish His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa the best and longevity.  At the same time, it would be increasing the life span for all the people who recite White Tara Mantra for His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa.
